What does it mean to have a baby?

with 4 comments

Here’s some visual evidence that a baby is a big commitment, in case people were in doubt:

Pre/post baby time on task

This is recorded on Daytum; I use it to keep track of how long I actually work each day (e.g., not counting Twitter, blog reading, lunch, etc.). Each column is one day.

WORTH IT.

  2. You missed the breaking of the pinata at the lab!

What is this daytum thing? Is it just data entry & visualization, or does it have some way to track time that I’m missing?

    • PiƱata! Haven’t done that since I was a kid. Daytum is pretty simple, but it was enough for what I wanted. You could get better visualizations from excel entry (I think you had a similar thing from Seattle?).
